Tag Instagram accounts on your image from Notion

Tag accounts on your Instagram image

You can tag accounts directly on your Instagram image (the labels that show up when you tap the photo), without leaving Notion.

How to tag

In your post caption, write the handle preceded by a single @: @username.

  • Each @username becomes a tag placed on the image.
  • You can tag up to 20 accounts per image.
  • Tags are distributed automatically across the image.
  • The @username also stays in your caption, as a regular mention.

Don't mix them up: a single @username tags the account on the image. A double @@username invites a collaborator (see the collab post article).

Key takeaways

  • @username in the caption = tag on the image.
  • Up to 20 tags per image.
  • @@username (double) = collab invite, not an image tag.
