Publish an Instagram collab post
A collab post shows up on several accounts' feeds at once, with a "Collaboration" badge. You set it all up from Notion, without touching the Instagram app.
How to invite a collaborator
In your post text, write the collaborator's handle preceded by a double @: @@username.
- You can invite up to 3 collaborators per post.
- Separate them with a space:
@@username1 @@username2. - At publish time, Scheduled sends the invite and cleans the caption:
@@usernameshows up as a plain@username.
@username does NOT trigger a collab invite. The double @@ is the explicit opt-in, so you don't accidentally invite a brand or account you only mention in your text. What happens on Instagram
Each collaborator receives a collaboration request. Once accepted, the post also appears on their feed and the accounts' audiences are combined.
Key takeaways
- Double
@@usernamein the text = collab invite. - Up to 3 collaborators per post.
- Single
@username= regular mention/tag, no invite. - The collaborator must accept the request on Instagram.
