Confirm that your Instagram account (business or creator) is correctly linked to a Facebook Page

Make sure your Instagram account is linked to a Facebook Page

You can switch your Instagram profile to a business or creator account. Scheduled supports direct publishing for these types of accounts, but Meta requires your Instagram account to be connected to a Facebook Page. If your Instagram account gets disconnected from this Page, direct publishing in Scheduled will no longer work.

Make sure your Instagram business account is linked to a Facebook Page

To check if your Instagram account is linked to a Facebook Page, here are several ways:

  • In the Instagram app: Go to your profile, tap “Edit profile”, then tap “Page”.

  • In Meta Business Suite: Go to your business settings, under Accounts > Instagram accounts, and check your Instagram account connection.

  • On Facebook: If your Page uses the new Pages experience, you’ll see a Linked accounts section when you’re using Facebook as your Page. Direct link.

Important: If you see an option to Get started or Switch now, click it and follow the steps to turn your account into a business account. If you see a button to Check connection, click it and follow the steps to reconnect your account. Once it’s fully connected, you’ll be able to publish through Scheduled.

Check that Scheduled has permission to publish to your Instagram account

Scheduled can publish to your Facebook and Instagram accounts only if your Facebook profile has admin rights for these accounts. Whenever you get access to new Instagram accounts, you need to allow Scheduled to publish to them.

Here’s how to check the permissions:

  1. Go to your business integrations and log in with a profile that has admin rights.

  1. Find Scheduled in the list and click “View and edit”.
  2. Make sure Scheduled has the necessary permissions to access your Instagram profile info, create new posts, and manage content on your Page.
