Connect Claude to Scheduled and schedule your posts in plain English
You can now run Scheduled from Claude: schedule a post, check your stats or find your best time slot, in plain English, without leaving your chat. Everything Claude creates lands in your Notion calendar, like any other card. Connecting takes 30 seconds.
Connect Claude Desktop or claude.ai
- In Scheduled, open Settings → API and copy the connector URL:
https://mcp.scheduled.so - Open Claude (the Desktop app or claude.ai), then Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Paste the URL and click Add. Claude sends you to a Scheduled consent screen: check you're signed in with the right account and approve access.
That's it. In a new conversation, Claude now sees your calendars and connected accounts.
Connect Claude Code
If you use Claude Code in your terminal, one command is enough:
claude mcp add --transport http scheduled https://mcp.scheduled.so
Claude Code opens your browser for authorization, then Scheduled is available in every session.
What you can ask Claude
A few prompts that work as is:
- "Schedule this text on LinkedIn Thursday at 9am in my Personal calendar."
- "What do I have scheduled this week?"
- "Move tomorrow's Instagram post to Friday, same time."
- "What were my 5 best LinkedIn posts last month?"
- "When should I post on Instagram to get the most reach?"
- "Compare my impressions for September and October."
Claude can also attach an image or a video to the post, duplicate an existing post to another network, cancel a scheduled post and check that your social connections are still valid.
What about Notion?
Nothing changes. Notion stays your source of truth: every post Claude creates is written to your calendar's Notion database, with its publication date, social connection and status. You can edit it in Notion as usual, and Scheduled publishes it at the planned time.
Troubleshooting
You see the "Available on Pro and Agency" screen when approving access
Your account is on a plan that doesn't include the API. Upgrade to Pro or Agency from the billing page, then reload the consent screen. If you're part of an agency, ask the account admin to invite you to their workspace: one membership on a Pro or Agency account is enough.
Claude doesn't see any calendar
Check that you approved consent with the right Scheduled account, and that your calendar is synced (it must show up in the app's calendar list).
Claude says the connector is disconnected or expired
Remove the connector in Claude's settings and redo the 3 steps. Authorization normally renews on its own, but revoking it on the Scheduled side (Settings → API) means you have to connect again.
You use Zapier, n8n, Make or your own script
You don't need the Claude connector but a Personal Access Token. Generate one from the same Settings → API page, with only the permissions your tool needs.
Key takeaways
- Included in Pro and Agency, trials included.
- Connector URL:
https://mcp.scheduled.so, to paste into Claude Desktop, claude.ai or Claude Code. - You talk to Claude in plain English, it schedules, edits, cancels and analyzes your posts.
- Every post Claude creates shows up in your Notion calendar.
- For automations without Claude, generate a Personal Access Token.
