Why are my LinkedIn stats no longer updating?

If your LinkedIn stats are no longer syncing in Notion or in Scheduled, it usually means the "Scheduled Analytics" Chrome extension is no longer synced with your LinkedIn profile. This is easy to fix by following the steps below.

Step 1: Check the extension sync

Go to your LinkedIn profile: Open your LinkedIn profile from your Chrome browser.

Open the Scheduled Analytics extension: Click on the "Scheduled Analytics" Chrome extension icon in your toolbar.

Check the sync indicators: Once the extension has loaded, make sure that 2 green blocks are visible:

  • The first green block confirms that the extension is properly synced with your Scheduled account
  • The second green block indicates that the extension is properly synced with your LinkedIn profile

Scheduled Analytics extension open and synced

If both green blocks are displayed correctly, the extension is synced again and your stats will update during the next scheduled sync.

Step 2: If the stats still don’t show up in Notion

If, even though the extension is synced, your stats still don’t show up in Notion, check the following points:

Check the sc_post_url property

Make sure the property exists: In your Notion database, check that the sc_post_url property is present.

Check the spelling: The property name must be exactly sc_post_url, with no capital letters and no spaces before or after.

Confirm the property type: The property must be of type URL.

Check if the stats show up in Scheduled

Go to your calendar: Open the relevant calendar in Scheduled.

View published posts: Click on "Show all published posts" located just below and to the right of the table with the metrics.

Review the data: If the stats appear in Scheduled but not in Notion, this means there is a sync issue between Scheduled and Notion, not with the extension.

Step 3: Fix a LinkedIn account conflict

If the stats appear in Scheduled but not in Notion, there might be a conflict with another LinkedIn account.

What is an account conflict?

A conflict happens when:

  1. The extension was synced with a first LinkedIn account
  2. This account was disconnected
  3. Another LinkedIn account was then connected

How to solve the conflict?

Make sure only the first LinkedIn account that was connected stays synced with the Chrome extension. The extension can only be linked to one single LinkedIn account at a time (the first one it was synced with).

Getting stats from multiple LinkedIn accounts

Important: The "Scheduled Analytics" Chrome extension can only be synced with one LinkedIn account per Chrome session.

If you want to get stats from several LinkedIn accounts, follow this process:

  1. Add each extra LinkedIn account to Scheduled
  2. Get a new extension key for each account
  3. Use a new Chrome session (or a different Chrome profile) for each account
  4. Sync each extension with its dedicated LinkedIn account

Key takeaways

  • The "Scheduled Analytics" extension must show 2 green blocks to be properly synced
  • The sc_post_url property (URL type) must be present in your Notion database
  • One Chrome extension can only be linked to one LinkedIn account at a time
  • To manage several accounts, you need to use several Chrome sessions with dedicated extensions
