# Publish long-form videos and Shorts on YouTube from Notion

### Publishing on YouTube: Shorts and long-form videos

Scheduled publishes both Shorts and regular (long-form) videos on YouTube. You don't have to set anything, detection is automatic.

### How it works

Add your video to your Notion post card and schedule it. At publish time, Scheduled checks your video's format to decide:

* **Short**: a vertical or square video **and** 3 minutes or less.
* **Regular (long-form) video**: everything else, for example a horizontal video or one longer than 3 minutes.
