How to publish on multiple LinkedIn profiles?

How to post on multiple LinkedIn profiles from Notion using Scheduled?

This guide will show you how to manage and publish content for multiple LinkedIn profiles directly from Notion, perfect for content creators managing multiple clients or companies implementing employee advocacy programs.

Prerequisites

Before getting started, ensure you have:

  • A Scheduled account
  • A connected Notion database
  • The appropriate Scheduled plan that allows multiple LinkedIn connections

Setting up profile connections

Step 1: Invite LinkedIn profile owners

  1. Go to your Scheduled dashboard
  2. Navigate to the "Social" section
  3. Click on "New" to add a new connection
  4. Select "Invite someone" and enter their email address

💡 The email doesn't need to be their LinkedIn email - just one where they'll receive the invitation.

Step 2: Profile owner connection process

When your invitee receives the email, they will need to:

  1. Click the invitation link
  2. Create a Scheduled password
  3. Connect their LinkedIn profile through Scheduled's interface
  4. (Optional) Configure analytics settings for performance tracking

Step 3: Configure publishing in Notion

Once the profile is connected:

  1. Locate the profile's alias in Scheduled (found in the Social connections section)
  2. Use the "Platform connection" property in your Notion database
  3. Add the profile's alias to this property for posts you want to publish to their profile

Advanced options

Direct profile connection

While not recommended, you can directly connect profiles using credentials:

  • Use the "Connect with credentials" option in the Social section
  • Always log out of LinkedIn between connecting different profiles
  • Only use this for existing clients when necessary

Analytics and reporting

  • Track performance metrics for all connected profiles
  • Access statistics directly in Notion
  • Share performance reports with clients

Best practices

  1. Always inform profile owners before sending invitations
  2. Share relevant tutorial videos from the help center
  3. Use the platform connection property correctly in Notion
  4. Keep track of your plan's limits for profile connections

For previous Scheduled users: The new system replaces the older client database method. You can remove the previous sc_linkedin_profile property and client database.
