How to publish a series of stories on Instagram and Facebook?
Publishing several stories in a row on Instagram and Facebook is possible directly from Notion. Here’s how to add multiple media files, set up the sc_story property, and automate their publication.
Step 1: Prepare your Notion card
- Open the calendar connected to Scheduled (your Notion database dedicated to posts).
- Create a new Notion card for your upcoming story series.
- Give it a clear title (example: “Story campaign launch April”).
Step 2: Add your media (images or videos)
- In the card, insert your images or videos in the body of the text, in the order you want them to appear.
- Use the shortcut /video or /image, or drag and drop your files.
- Each media file you add will be published as a separate story.

Step 3: Turn on story publishing with the sc_story property
- Find the column (property) called
sc_storyin your Notion database. - Tick the box in the card where you added your media.
- This tells Scheduled that these media files must be published as stories.

Step 4: Start automated publishing
- Once the card is ready, Scheduled will take each media file and publish them automatically:
- On Instagram and/or Facebook depending on your setup
- An automatic delay of 3 seconds is applied between each story.
- You don’t have to do anything else, Scheduled takes care of the sequence.
