How to delete your Scheduled account

"I want to delete my account" usually means one of two things: you want to stop paying, or you want your data erased for good. Here's how to do each.

You just want to stop paying

No need to delete your account, you can cancel your subscription yourself in three clicks:

  1. Go to My subscription in the left menu
  2. Click Access to my billing dashboard
  3. In the Stripe window that opens, choose Stop your subscription

You keep access to Scheduled until the end of the period you already paid for. After that, syncing and publishing stop, but your data and calendars stay in place in case you come back later.

You want your account and all your data deleted

There's no "delete my account" button in the app, and that's on purpose: the operation is irreversible and it also affects calendars shared with your team or your clients. So we do it by hand, at your request.

Reach out via the chat at the bottom right of the app or at [email protected], from the email address on your account. One sentence is enough: "Please delete my account and my data." We take care of it and confirm the deletion in writing.

What we delete

  • Your profile and your login credentials
  • Your account and the access of any members attached to it
  • Your calendars and every synced post
  • Your social connections and their access tokens
  • Your analytics reports and your post stats
  • Your subscription, which gets cancelled in the process

What we don't touch

  • Your Notion database. It's yours. We don't edit it and we don't delete anything inside it. We simply stop syncing it.
  • Posts you already published. They stay live on LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. Deleting your Scheduled account doesn't unpublish anything.
  • Your invoices. Accounting law requires us to keep them. They're not used for anything else.

Deletion is permanent. Once it's done, we can't restore your account, your calendars or your stats history. If you're unsure, cancel your subscription instead: you can come back whenever you want.

On the Notion side

Once your account is deleted, the Scheduled connection is inactive anyway. If you want to clean it up in Notion:

  1. In Notion, open Settings
  2. Go to Connections
  3. Find Scheduled and click Disconnect

What about GDPR?

A deletion request under Article 17 GDPR (right to erasure) is handled exactly the same way: send a message to [email protected] from the email address on your account, and we confirm the deletion in writing.

Key takeaways

  • Cancelling your subscription needs nothing from us, do it from My subscription
  • Deleting your account and data is requested via chat or at [email protected]
  • Write from the email address on the account, it saves us a verification round trip
  • Deletion is permanent, nothing can be restored afterwards
  • Your Notion database and your already-published posts are never touched

Got a question before you go, or want to tell us what didn't work for you? Reach out via the chat at the bottom right or at [email protected]. We read everything 🙌
