How to automatically repost your LinkedIn posts from Notion?

In this article, you'll discover how to automatically share your LinkedIn posts across multiple profiles or pages without doing it manually. This feature will save you time and increase the visibility of your publications in just a few clicks.

This feature only works for LinkedIn.

Why use this feature?

Practical use cases

Share between your LinkedIn profile and page

You publish a post on your personal profile and want your company page to share it automatically to reach a different audience.

Amplify team announcements

A team member makes an important announcement. Instead of everyone sharing manually, configure automatic reposting so all team profiles share the post.

Maximize the reach of strategic content

For your most important posts, you can publish them across multiple connections simultaneously to maximize their visibility.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure that:

  • All LinkedIn profiles and pages you want to use are properly connected to Scheduled
  • These connections are active in your Scheduled calendar

Active connections in Scheduled

Step 1: Add the repost property in Notion

To enable automatic reposting, you need to add a new property to your Notion database:

→ sc_reposted_by (type: Multi-select)

This property will allow you to choose which LinkedIn connections will automatically repost your post.

Step 2: Configure the property options

Once the property is created, you need to add your LinkedIn connection aliases as options:

  1. Go to your sc_reposted_by property settings
  2. Add the aliases of your LinkedIn connections (profiles or pages) from your Scheduled calendar
  3. Use exactly the same names as those configured in your main connection property

Step 3: Schedule your post with reposting

Now that everything is configured, here's how to use this feature:

  1. Write your post in Notion as usual
  2. In the main connection property, select the profile or page that will publish the post first
  3. In the sc_reposted_by property, select all the profiles/pages that should automatically repost this post
  4. Set the publication date and change the status so the post is ready to be scheduled

The post will first be published on the main connection, then automatically reposted by all connections selected in sc_reposted_by.

How reposting works

Once your post is published on LinkedIn:

  • Reposting happens automatically a few moments after the initial publication
  • Each connection selected in sc_reposted_by will share the original post
  • The post format is preserved (text, images, carousels, videos...)
  • If you've configured a first comment, it will be published on the original post

Key takeaways

  • This feature is currently only available for LinkedIn
  • It works with all Scheduled plans
  • You can repost a post on as many connections as you want
  • Reposting happens automatically after the original publication with no manual action
  • All content formats are supported (text, images, carousels, videos)
  • The first comment is only published on the original post, not on the reposts
